Today was our last day in LA. we went our separate ways again, I headed off to church while Bazz explored Hollywood a bit more and caught up with some people he met to say goodbye.
The church I went to was called Hope Lutheran Church, Hollywood. The service was nice, very similar to what we do at Upper Moutere. I had a good chat with the pastor, Mark, afterwards. He told me that the church is almost 80 years old and have only had 3 pastors serve there. He has been there for 32 years and his father was the pastor there before him.

I then went and checked out more of Hollywood, I saw the Hollywood sign and explored the malls on Hollywood Blvd. I had lunch at Subway and there I found a great shop called Sweet.

You
could design your own chocolate bar and watch them make it. They also
made hard candy and shows us how to make it. I had a go at a few free
samples, yummy!

I
got a few more pics of some of the stars and headed back to our hotel
where I met up with Bazz and someone he met who happily gave us a lift
to the airport.

We checked in and waited for our short flight to Vegas. It was only an hour long, but the views out the window were stunning.
We grabbed our bags and caught a cab to our hotel. Bazz was told about a restaurant called Dicks Last Resort, that pride themselves on being rude and having bad customer service. And they didn't let us down.
After dinner we decided we'd head up the strip to see the many sights and bright lights of Vegas. I didn't realise how big this place was. We also got to catch the Belagio Fountain show.
After walking the length of the strip, we decide to catch a cab to Fremont St and meet up with our Aussie friends that we met in LA.
We hung out in a casino an played some pretty poor $3 blackjack. But we had fun and everyone knew that there were a group of Aussies in the building.
