We didn't really have many plans for this Saturday in LA so we decided to split up and do our own thing. We had a bit of a sleep in and headed off to the train station at about 11:30. Bazz went to a pub near the Staples Center to watch the Kings play hockey on TV with some of the people we met at the Ducks game. After having a few beers and watching the Kings get beaten, he headed back to our hotel to meet up with someone else he met.
She took him for a hike around the top of the LA hills and showed him the sites of the city.

I went down to the Californian Science Center to see their exhibition of the Dead Sea Scrolls. I was lucky to get in as they had sold out, but I gave the ticket lady a bit of a sob story (last day in LA, wasn't able to buy online etc.) and she squeezed me in to go right away!

While in there, I wasn't allowed to take any pics but I did do one sneaky one. There was lots of information about the history of Jerusalem and Israel, with lots of artifacts like coins, pottery and jewelery.

After a few hours in the dead sea scrolls, I quickly dashed over to the shuttle Endeavor exhibition. The shuttle was really impressive in size, and work that went into it was very amazing. The boosters on the back of the shuttle are really big.

After being kicked out of the Science Center at closing time, I had a bit of a look around the area and found the Coliseum, which is where the USC Trojans play football and also the home of the 1932 ans 1984 Olympic Games.

I caught the train back to our hotel and caught up with Bazz, we went and tried a chicken place for dinner that was great. We packed our bags and got ready for our last day in LA and had a fairly early night.
