Today we had an early start. We rented a car and drove out to the Grand Canyon, about 400kms from Vegas. It was a very boring trip. Bazz drove the first few hours while I attempted to sleep and we swapped and I finished us off while Bazz rested. On the way, we stopped at Macca's for a feed and saw a guy packing. Because, you know, he's able to stop the government from not treating them fairly with a hand gun...
When we got to the start of the park we bought our pass and got some souvenirs. We were a bit surprised at how much there is to do at the Grand Canyon and we quickly realised we didn't plan enough time there. But we pushed on, to the Canyon itself.

After finding an illegal car park (everyone else was doing it), we made our way to the canyon itself.
It was breathtaking. There were such beautiful views and the whole
thing was just so big. We ended up staying for about two hours,
traveling on a free buss to other view points.
We got back in te car and headed back to Las Vegas. On the way home we stopped at the Hoover Dam. It was night time, but still cool to drive over it and have a good look at it and the new bridge.

We made it into our here at about nine o'clock and grabbed some dinner. We checked out the Las Vegas strip a bit more and then went to bed.
